Our digitalization one year on: company growth, new chances and job opportunities for turners and millers

One year ago GBZ embarked on a path of evolution and digitalization with Becom, to optimize the management of processes and shape an important renewal of the company, a real revolution to increase competitiveness and exploit the potential of a company where tradition and innovation come together.

The first step towards a new GBZ was the generational shift from the line dictated by the founder of the company towards a new entrepreneurial vision oriented towards technological innovation and organizational development.

Through the analysis of all business flows have been identified areas that needed an optimization of processes that led to the implementation of a management information system and a reorganization of individual procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

During this year, the paradigm shift has allowed the owner Roberta Gelmi to lighten the burden of purely operational issues to focus on her role as an entrepreneur, defining the evolution line she wants for her company and integrating new resources, both in terms of staff and in terms of new machinery.

Important investments that have resulted in the achievement of ISO 9001:2015 certification and the opening of a new division in Brescia, which has simplified many logistical operations and represents a great advantage in terms of economics and environmental impact.

The reorganization path undertaken by the company has highlighted the need for new staff who wish to join the GBZ family and bring added value with their skills to a fast-growing reality.

GBZ has opened the selections for millers and turners with previous experience and excellent programming and tooling skills on board the machine, open to innovation and willing to give a concrete contribution to the evolution of the company.
